This is not a job that you can procrastinate on. An old mattress is one of the most uniquely challenging items to remove from your house by yourself. Not only are they bulky and heavy, but they don’t necessarily keep their shape as you move them. And once you get them out of the house, you can’t just leave it for trash pickup, so you need a big vehicle to haul it off.
